Overseas Strength Reinforced Ahead of 2026 Campaign
Three Bridges Cricket Club is delighted to announce the return of Matt Boyle as our overseas player for the 2026 season.

Matt previously represented TBCC during the 2024 campaign, where he made a strong impression both on and off the field. We are excited to welcome him back for another season as the club continues to build towards sustained success.
The club is pleased to confirm that an agreement has been reached with Matt to return as our overseas professional for 2026. He will join our now locally based professional Luke Beaufort, alongside Sussex CCC professionals George Thomas and James Coles, who are both registered and available for the coming season. This combination further strengthens an already exciting squad as preparations continue for the year ahead.
Since his last stint at Three Bridges, Matt’s reputation has continued to grow. He has been in impressive form across all formats for the Canterbury Kings in his native New Zealand, and his development was recognised with a call-up to the New Zealand A squad for their 2025 tour of Bangladesh. Many observers believe this could be the first step towards further representative honours in the future.
With the squad shaping up strongly, anticipation is already building for the 2026 season. We look forward to following Joe and the team as they chase that elusive Sussex Cricket League title.
Welcome back, Matt. 💙🏏
